Mixed Repertory Program

Join us for a captivating evening of original and varied ballet performances at the Jim Santy Auditorium. The evening will be comprised of dynamic contemporary pieces - short stories told through dance. All of the evening’s performances will be accompanied by an outstanding group of live musicians.

The evening's program will begin with Passacaglia, with music composed by Handel / Halvorsen, choreographed by BalletNEXT artistic director Michele Wiles. Nextm we will feature a brand new piece by renowned choregraphy Brian Reeder entitled The Loop, featuring the electric cello using a pedal looping technique. Brian joined us in Park City in the spring to create this work specifically for BalletNEXT. Completing the program will be The Devil Wears Pointe Shoes, a rousing western-themed contemporary ballet to end the night on an energetic note, also choreographed by Michele Wiles.

We are thrilled to present this dynamic and innovative program, thoughtfully designed to showcase the remarkable range and versatility of the BalletNEXT dancers. Following the performance, you're invited to engage in a Q&A session, offering you an opportunity to delve deeper into the artistic works and insights about the Company's creative journey.

All tickets to this performance are available on a donation basis thanks to support from the Park City RAP Tax and the Park City Community Foundation.
